About
Hello there! I'm Anna, an aspiring software engineer studying computer science at Macaulay Honors College in New York City.
To assist the underrepresented population, I use my experience as a person with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss to alleviate accessibility challenges online.
Using my skills to benefit the community is what I do best, with one of my favorite initiatives managing and designing a website for over 11,000 high school members in the New York District of Key Club International.
As an early riser, I typically get up at 7 am to prepare coffee before returning to bed. My current obsession: attempting to complete the 100 books in a year challenge.

Journey
While providing volunteer opportunities for over 100 club members and gaining leadership + technical skills along the way for 2.5 years, I led the club to receive the Member Retention Award in 2022 for achieving a membership increase of up to 15% from the previous service year.
As a contributor to the cluster of Key Clubs in New York City, we raised over three thousand dollars to end the water crisis in African communities, and the fundraiser was awarded as one of the best worldwide at Thirst Project's Legacy Summit in July 2021.
While serving on the Key Club District Board, I managed the website for 11,000 members, achieved a 72% growth in Instagram followers within 4 months, and received recognition as the Outstanding Executive Board Member at the Leadership Training Conference in May 2022.
In November 2022, I participated in the McMaster Design League Designathon, my first design sprint, collaborating virtually with two individuals from different parts of the world, and together we developed a website prototype that led us to become finalists, ultimately winning third place.
As one of the attendees at the WeCode Conference held at Harvard University in February 2023, I acquired knowledge in the fundamentals of ML/AI, gained insights into startup accelerator programs, and had the opportunity to listen to impactful guest speakers in Boston, Massachusetts.
